Fagan, 84, of Perkins, Okla., died Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 in Stillwater, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at Strode Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Merl Kinser officiating. Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, Perkins, Okla. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born July 30, 1925, to Sylvester and Matilda Satterfield Fagan in Perkins. He attended Glencoe and Perkins schools. He married Wanda Jean Fitzpatrick on Nov. 25, 1944, in Stillwater. He served in the 12th Fighter Squadron, being honorably discharged in September 1946. He was a dry wall contractor by trade, and a farmer by choice. He enjoyed the many travels with the Good Sons Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jean, son Mike Fagan, three brothers, Roy Fagan, Roscoe Fagan and Leonard Fagan, and one sister, Gladys. He is survived by three daughters, Paulette Cundiff and her husband, Leroy, of Perkins, Okla., Carol Rae Dear of Perkins, Okla., and Donna Law of Perkins, Okla.; three brothers, Kenneth Fagan of Dumas, Texas, Richard Fagan of Stillwater, Okla., and Dale Fagan of Harrison, Ark.; two sisters, Veata Brake of Stillwater, Okla., and Ethel McQuown of Oklahoma City, Okla.; nine grandchildren, Tim Cundiff of Perkins, Okla.; Jay Paul Fagan of Simpsonville, Ky.,; Matt Law of Perryton, Texas; Carl Law of Turpin, Okla.; Scarlet Collins of Sand Springs, Gina Van Zandt of Stillwater, Okla.; Terry Dear of Denton, Texas; Tonya Glasby of Yale, Okla.; and Tammie Wamsley of Perkins, Okla.; and 13 great grandchildren. |
