© Davis Funeral Home Cushing, Oklahoma September 2006 Laura Ellen [Levier] Buffalohead June 2, 1961 ~ Sepember 11, 2006 Laura Ellen Buffalohead was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma on June 2, 1961 to John Cook and the late Alexandria Delphine Levier. She was the granddaughter of the late Carl Butler and Laura Bell Butler. She was an enrolled member of the Pawnee tribe but was also Sac & Fox and Creek. She was a member of the Native American Church. She was educated in the Cushing schools and attended LPN school at Drumright Vo-Tech. She worked in the Pawnee, Tulsa and Cushing area. She also worked as a substitute for the Cushing schools. Laura was united in marriage to Ivan Buffalohead on April 4, 1980. She is survived by a son Silas Cox and a daughter Colleen Levier both of the home; brothers, Carl and Jeannie Cobb of Terlton, Dwight Levier of Tulsa and Michael Cook, Okemah; sisters, Eudora and Jim Rogers and Edie Cox of Cushing, Shelly Jacobs of Glenpool and Kristen Cook of Holdenville. She had many friends and relatives, too numerous to name. Wake services will be held Thursday, 14th of September at 7:30 p.m. Davis Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, 15th of September at Full Gospel Church located at 2010 N. Little, Cushing. Burial will follow in the Butler Cemetery, east of Cushing. |
