Pansy I. Waller Kirkpatrick, lifelong Cushing resident, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2007 in the Cushing Regional Hospital at the age of 84 years.
The daughter of the late Ray J. Waller and Minnie C. O’Rourke Waller, Pansy was born on July 25, 1923 in Cushing, and was raised and educated in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School in 1940.
She was united in marriage to John Kirkpatrick on February 21, 1941 in Cushing and to this union two children, Jeanette and John, were born. John preceded her in death on January 25, 1997.
Pansy enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, canning and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.
Survivors include one daughter, Jeanette Paris; one son, John Kirkpatrick and his wife Diana; three grandchildren, Nathan Paris, Amy Kirkpatrick and Brooke Kirkpatrick; two great-grandchildren, Connor Paris and Ian Paris; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde Waller and Virgil Waller and three sisters, Hulda DeBaun, Lucy Pearl Copple and an infant Clara Waller.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in the Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
