Cherri Donnell (Six) Stratton

Cherri Donnell (Six) Stratton, passed away from this life on February 25, 2023, at the age of 53.

Donnell was born on February 26, 1969, in Claremore, Oklahoma. The daughter of Johnny Lee and Bertha Sharon (Hayes) Six. She was the baby sister to two older brothers, Johnny Jr. and Bert Six. Donnell grew up and attended school at Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, graduating in 1987.

Donnell remained in the Tulsa area until 2003 when she moved to Cleveland. Growing up she loved going to church & being a part of the special Olympics. Around HS years she was a part of a skiing team!! She was amazing! In her later years she just enjoyed the shot put & mile walk. She excelled in the Special Olympics and won numerous medals and awards.

Donnell loved to sing, dance and be around others. She also enjoyed going to church where they had dinners, going to get pedicures as well as never being afraid to spark a conversation. She had an amazing soul & never met a stranger! Donnell was a doting, loving & compassionate woman. She is now resting in peace with her partner in crime Murrel.

Survivors are her daughter, father Johnny Six Sr., brother Johnny Six Jr & niece Kazia Six and numerous other relatives and friends. Donnell was preceded in death by her mother Bertha Six, her beloved brother Bert & many other loved ones.

Services will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, March 6, 2023, at the First Christian Church with Tim Muniz officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Friends and family may visit an online guest book and memorial page for Donnell at www.chapman-black.com. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cleveland Area Food Pantry.
