She later spent time involved in real estate in the Cleveland area, continuing to serve her community in various ways.

She was a woman of strong faith and was a devoted Baptist. Doris was baptized in Wichita, Kansas, and carried her faith with her throughout her life. She was also a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she remained active for over 50 years.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earl, one brother Norman Corn, and four sisters Evelyn States, Kathleen Reed, Hester Shively and Marilyn Dillon. One surviving sister Janice Allen, and many nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the love she shared with those around her. Doris leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and quiet strength that will not be forgotten..
