Lloyd Junior Youtsey, 90, passed from this life on January 7, 2022, at his home in Jennings, Oklahoma.
Lloyd was born on November 29, 1931, at Terlton, Oklahoma the son of Lloyd Tillman and Ethel May (Hodson) Youtsey. Lloyd began school in Terlton later graduating with the Class of 1950. Lloyd was soon drafted into the service of his country into the United State Army. Lloyd served his country during the Korean Conflict later being honorably discharged as Sergeant Lloyd Youtsey in November of 1954. On January 15, 1955, Lloyd was united in marriage Nadine Barnes in Oilton, Oklahoma. Lloyd returned to Terlton and began working in Tulsa. Lloyd also worked for Phillips 66, Whitton's Drilling Company and last employed with Nadel and Gusman for over 40 years retiring in 2014. On December 9, 1983, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma Lloyd was united in marriage to Naomi Lee Horton.
Lloyd enjoyed being with his family and friends, and talking about the oil field. He enjoyed going to Walnut Creek and Pine Island near Grove, Oklahoma. He also spent time watching westerns, tinkering with cars and taking care of his cats. Lloyd also like going on vacations to California, Nashville and watching the shows at Branson. Attending Bluegrass Festivals and NASCAR races were always memorable events. Lloyd attended the First Baptist Church in Jennings for many years.
Survivors are his wife Naomi of the home; three children Tamra Youtsey Colpitt and husband Hal Colpitt of Mannford, Oklahoma, David Youtsey and wife Lisa Youtsey of Oilton, Oklahoma, Jenny Lester and husband Brett Lester of Jennings, Oklahoma; three siblings Doris Youtsey of Terlton, Oklahoma, Dorothy Youtsey of Mannford, Oklahoma, Raymond Youtsey of Cleveland, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife Nadine Youtsey, brother Leo Youtsey and a infatnt sister Rose May Youtsey.
Services will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 12, 2021 at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Ryan Forrest officiating. Burial will be held in the Terlton Cemetery with military honors provided by the Fifth District Rifle Team. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
