Gerry Kay Farrow passed from this life on September 20, 2022, at the age of 79 in Jennings, Oklahoma.
Gerry was born on December 31, 1942, at Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Frank and Nadine (Daniels) Workman. Gerry grew up and attended school in Miami, Oklahoma graduated from high school with the Class of 1961. Following her graduation Gerry attended college at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. After graduation Gerry moved to Tulsa gaining employment at Cities Services. On November 26, 1964, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma Gerry was united in marriage to Alvin "Duroc" Earl Farrow establishing their home in Mannford, Oklahoma. Gerry also worked for Skelly Oil, Getty Oil, Texaco retiring from IBM in 2008.
Gerry and Sharon Martin were lifelong friends and for many years traveling to Jazzercise events. Traveling with Duroc and the kids to roping events were always memorable times as well as the family Sunday dinners at Darrell and Lou's house. She also enjoyed spending time traveling watching her grandkids participating in their sporting event and school activities. Going to the playdays, rodeo queen pageants and other activities of her great grandkids were always her top priorities. Gerry was also a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Terlton.
Gerry is survived by three children Judy Toothman of Silver City, Oklahoma, Rocky Farrow of Terlton, Oklahoma, Stoney Farrow and wife Kelly of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; two sisters Cookie Clifft, Jeanne Foster both of Norman, Oklahoma; three grandchildren Nathan Toothman and his wife Olivia, Randa Novotny and husband Matt, Colby Toothman and Sarah Maxwell, five great grandchildren Jacie, Jenna, Jentri, Ackley, Gatlin, Maddie and a host of other relatives and friends that will mourn her passing. In addition to her parents Gerry was preceded in death by her husband Duroc Farrow.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm, Monday, September 26, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Terlton with Pastors Justin White and Scott Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Terlton Cemetery at Terlton, Oklahoma. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
