Morris B. Wade Sr was born on February 13, 1932 to Byington and Marzell Wade of Allen, Oklahoma. Morris was an enrolled member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Morris was drafted into the Army in 1955 and was honorably discharged in the fall of 1957 having served in the 23rd Armored Division Company C Pvt. 1st Class.
Morris married Alba Jo Leadingfox in 1958. They had five children.
Morris became a Master floor covering and tile worker for over 50 years. He provided job opportunities for numerous friends and relatives within the Pawnee community throughout his life. He worked all over Oklahoma during his career.
Morris was preceded in death by his parents Byington and Marzell Wade, brother Patrick, and daughter Barbara Jean Attocknie.
Morris is survived by his children Ronnie Parker and wife Pam of Sulphur, OK, Martin Wade and Wife Teri of Tulsa, OK, Virgil Wade and wife Ronda, Morris "Boscoe" Wade Jr., Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Arkeketa all residing in Pawnee, OK, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews from the Pawnee, Otoe, Ponca, and Cheyenne Arapaho Tribal Nations.
