Betty D'ann Jones

Betty D'Ann Jones passed from this life on November 25, 2025, at the age of 54 in Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Betty was born on February 23, 1971, in Hobbs, New Mexico, the daughter of James and Meda "Bitsy" (West) Jones. Betty grew up and attended school in Hampton, Arkansas, where she graduated with the Class of 1990. After her education, Betty worked at Hampton Public Schools for a couple of years, then at McDonald's.

Betty was a lover of all 80s and 90s music, and she would always ask, "Do you want me to sing you a song?" Betty was always singing. Her favorite films were The Brady Bunch & Walker Texas Ranger. Betty also loved the holidays and was known for her joyful spirit and the way she made every season feel magical. She loved her cat, Kasi, who was 18 years old. Betty loved teaching others Karate and Cheerleading. Her favorite places to visit were Walmart, Sonic, and McDonald's. She also loved traveling to Red River, New Mexico, and Branson. Though she is no longer with us, her joyful spirit remains in our hearts and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her siblings, Beth Lott and husband Charles, Doug Jones, Mike Jones, Lowell Jones; nephews Cody Lott, Matthew Lott, Preston Jones; nieces Chelsea Fosmire, Stephanie Pruitt, Jennifer Johnson, Brittney King, Maddison Murphy; four great nieces, nine great nephews, and three great great nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, James and Meda "Bitsy" Jones; her nephew, Justin Jones; her niece, Jamie Jones; and two great nieces, Lily Johnson and Baby Stella Rae Lott.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. The burial will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hampton, Arkansas. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Friends and family may visit an online guest book and memorial page for Betty at www.chapman-black.com.
