Wilma Jean (Schmitt) Kelley was born on December 6, 1934 to parents Martin and Ellen Schmitt of Pawnee, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on September 18, 2026 at the age of 91 in Pawnee. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Evelyn Trissell, and her husband, Billy Kelley. She is also preceded in death by her son, Michael Allen.
She is survived by children, daughters Sharon Lakey and Pam Ware with husband Jack, sons , Martin Kelley and Wallace Kelley with wife Ellie. She is also survived by her grandchildren Chad Kelley with wife, Anna , Chance Tatum with wife, Dr Brooke, Phillip Kelley, Jason Lakey, Walter Ware , Adam Ware and Lanie Kelley, including her great grandchildren Michael, Brealynn, Kaylee, Judson, Taylor, Charley, and Rocklynn.
Wilma enjoyed making quilts for her family. She also enjoyed gardening and canning . She was a homemaker raising her children and helping to raise her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching the animals outside her window.
Wilma worked for Jerry's Studio producing Senior panels for the high school. Later she worked for Pawnee Public Schools as the cafeteria manager. She was a 4H leader.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Pawnee on Wednesday September the 23rd at 10 AM. She will be interred at Masham Cemetery next to her husband.
