David Lane Howard, of Oilton, went to be with his Lord, on August 3, 2016 at the age of 19. Lane was born on July 6, 1997 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to David Scott and Lisa (Bangs) Howard. He grew up in the Oilton area. He attended and graduated from Oilton High School in 2015.
Lane enjoyed all types of music. He would make up songs and Rap in a Christian style music. He was very talented and gifted in music and always had a song in his heart. Lane cared for everyone; some might say he had a big heart full of love. He would stand up for what was right, and would speak up if someone spoke ill of another person. Lane also enjoyed hunting and fishing, and riding his grandfather's ATV as fast as he possibly could. Lane loved to speak of God to his family and his teachings through Victory Bible and Victory Camp.
He is survived by his parents, David Scott and Lisa Howard, one sister, Kimberly Howard, grandparents, David and Terry Howard and George and Nancy Bangs.
Survivors include her three children, Jeanie Brandon and her husband Kenneth of Carney, OK, Bradley Wayne Holder and his wife Margaret of Richardson, TX, and Erna Wray Patton and her husband Jack of Oilton, OK; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Oilton Christ Fellowship Church in Oilton, Oklahoma. Pastor Bill Baumgarten will officiate. Interment will follow at Jennings Cemetery, Jennings, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 9 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Oilton, Oklahoma. Condolences and an online guestbook are available at www.palmermarlerfh.com.
