Mark Anthony Blackburn passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 64 in Jennings, Oklahoma.

Known for his kindness and generosity, Mark was always ready to lend a helping hand. He was born on March 6, 1961, in Yale, Oklahoma, to Marion and Dorothy (Poulter) Blackburn. Mark grew up in Oilton, Oklahoma, where he attended school. After graduating high school, he began working in the oilfields as a roughneck. In the 1990s, he transitioned to driving a semi-truck and worked hauling crude oil in the area.

Mark had a passion for fishing and enjoyed playing golf. He took great pride in maintaining his home and meticulously caring for his lawn.

Mark's love and warmth extended to his family, who will cherish his memory forever. He is survived by his two children, Cody Blackburn and Nicole Blackburn; two siblings, David Howard and Karen Roberts; grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Blackburn; his parents, Marion and Dorothy Blackburn; and his sister, Linda Nichols.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the First Assembly of God Church in Jennings, Oklahoma. Kevin Wright will officiate. Burial will take place at Jennings Cemetery in Jennings, Oklahoma. The arrangements are under the care of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
