February 18, 1956 ~ October 7, 2025

Ed was born on February 18, 1956, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Jesse Eugene and Alma Kay (Kinney) Bartley. Ed grew up and attended school in Cleveland, where he graduated with the Class of 1974. During his time in high school, he was actively involved with the FFA show cattle program. Following high school, Ed began working at Drum Services and later at C.E. Natco, until the facility's closure in 1984. Ed then gained employment at Word Industries' Cleveland facility and worked there until the early 1990s. Ed then worked independently for Kenny Thurman, helping with cattle and pumping wells.

Ed always enjoyed being outdoors and tinkering with anything mechanical. Colorado was always a place he enjoyed visiting and frequently talked about.

Survivors are his mother Alma Bartley, two siblings, Eldon Bartley and wife Charlene, Vivian Green and husband Cliff, nieces and nephews Jesse Wade Bartley, Shawna Robinson, Erin Welch, Jena Green, Melissa Victory, Amanda Hill, Kelvin Fechner, and a host of other relatives and friends. Edmond was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Bartley, and his great niece, Raygen Yandell. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Jennings Cemetery Chapel.
