Kendra Lue Dvorak

May 11, 1978 ~ July 29, 2021

Kendra Lue Dvorak was born May 11, 1978 in Stillwater, OK. She was the oldest out of 4 children of Charles (Kendal) and Virginia (Ginny) Griesel Dvorak. Kendra finished her earthly duties on July 29, 2021 reaching the age of 43 years.

Kendra attended Glencoe Public Schools until the 4th grade and then attended Pawnee Public Schools where she graduated with the class of 1996. During her High school years, she was active in FFA where she held the position of chapter President, she showed sheep, pigs, and received her State and National FFA Degree. She was a Softball player, cheerleader, part of the color guard, and played the flute in the marching band. She loved being part of anything and everything.

After graduating high school, she attended the University of Central Oklahoma for 2.5 years before transferring to Northeastern State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2001.

She welcomed her first daughter, Kylie Lorraine, on September 4, 2002 and her second Keilee Lue, on March 22 ,2005. Kendra was their BIGGEST fan in life. She never missed an assembly, concert, banquet, or sporting event. You could find her before you saw her. She was the loud, spunky one with the camera always in her hand.

Kendra gained hundreds of “kids” throughout her 16 years of teaching at Pawnee Elementary School. She was the light in lives of every single kid that walked through her classroom doors. Kendra shared her love for Jesus with everyone she met. Her summers were spent mentoring and nurturing kids at Camp Lela and Falls Creek. She documented all excitement with pictures and selfies making sure parents would know their kids were having a blast. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Pawnee.

She loved shopping and 90% of the time it was for others. If you mentioned wanting or looking for something, she would find it and get it for you. If you ask her girls about her shopping they would tell you to never go with her because you’d have to go down every single aisle because she always said you never know what you might need.

When you think of the word love you automatically thought of Kendra. She loved everyone with all she had. 1st Corinthians 13:1 says “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. She was a bright ray of sunshine and she lit up everyone’s day with her beautiful smile.

Kendra was survived by her daughters Kylie Castleberry of the home, Keilee Castleberry of Skiatook. Parents Kendal and Ginny Dvorak of Pawnee. Sisters Amber Grant and spouse Adam of Perkins, and Lindsay Barrett of Pawnee. Brother Timmy Dvorak and spouse Melissa of Pawnee. Grandmother Betty Griesel, nieces and nephews Cagle and Gentry Grant, Kynzie and Ava Barrett, Jaylee and FInlee Dvorak.

Kendra is preceded in death by Grandparents Melvin Griesel, Charlie Dvorak, Juanita Dvorak. Niece Addyson Barrett. Uncle Frank Dvorak.
