Robert Leon "Butch" Slead passed away January 1, 2021 at the age of 78 years, 9 months, and 25 days old. Robert was born March 7, 1942 in Blackburn, Oklahoma to Rex and Viola (Hendrix) Slead. Robert was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma graduating from Lowell High School in Tulsa. Robert laid carpet for 40 years and was very good at it. Robert had 9 children; Steve Slead of Prue, Oklahoma, Robin Slead of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Coda of Stillwater, Stormi, Stoney, Lane, Tuff, Rowdy, and Cage all of Blackburn, Oklahoma, and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren, brother Jim Slead of Owasso, Oklahoma, 3 sisters, Phyllis Woodby, Wilma Elma Clark and Florice Sanders. Robert is survived by his wife of the home Robin. Robert's grandfather gave him the nickname of Butch, and that is what everyone knew him as is Butch. Butch loved 4-wheeling, riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting and fixin Hot Rods. Butch quit hunting years ago the last Big Buck he got he said he cried like a baby he said that is it I'm not hunting anymore.
