Lynn Edward Nuttle was born April 21, 1943 in Pawnee, OK. He was the second of five children to Ralph Nuttle and Julia Hatfield Nuttle and was raised on the family farm in Skedee. Lynn graduated from Blackburn High School (a class of 6) in 1961. In 1966, he started working in Sand Springs for Horner Box as a bundler and later as an operator. Lynn married Jessie Robinson on December 8, 1967 and they moved back to the family farm in 1971. He and Jessie were faithful members and workers in the Skedee Assembly of God church for over 30 years.
Lynn served for the Army National Guard and spent many years on the paper route for the Tulsa World and the Daily Oklahoman. He also worked 30 years as the equipment manager for the Pawnee Soil Conservation District starting in 1979. He was always busy and liked to work. Growing up on the farm, hard work became second nature to Lynn. Through all of his endeavors, Lynn always kept the farm going. Harvesting wheat, soybeans, alfalfa and growing one of the best pumpkin patches around. Many school kids enjoyed an afternoon at Lynn's patch and got back on the bus with their seasonal treasures to take home. He of course passed on the habit of working hard to his children. Hoeing corn, checking watermelon vines, hauling hay and cutting wood were nothing out of the ordinary. Lynn was soft-spoken, kind, generous and always willing to help. He enjoyed many sports, but especially enjoyed when his grandkids were involved in them. He loved his family and was always game for a tea party when the grandkids asked, or to be their "patient" when they wanted to play doctor.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jessie, sister Julienne Alley.
He is survived by his sister Darla Lyles of Collinsville, brother Leon Nuttle and wife Jody of Sand Springs, and brother Harry Nuttle and wife Lee Ellen of Oilton. His children Tammy Keeling, Tony Nuttle and wife Wendy, Bambi Weaver and Shane Nuttle, all of Skedee. His grandchildren Karri Duncan and husband Austin "Tubby", Ben Keeling and wife Rachel, Justin Nuttle and wife Samantha, Kati Lowery and husband Justin, Jayden and Brylyn Weaver, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and other family.
