Larry Joe Whaley was born in 1939, on July 23rd, in Pueblo Colorado.
He left this earth on July 5, 2025 peacefully at his home in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Larry was a loved and dutiful father and husband, a devout member of the Westport Baptist Church and had been the owner operator of an A&W franchise in Oklahoma City. He was very active in Barbershop singing and that was where he found his joy in this life. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, his brothers Charles, Delbert and David, and his sisters Judy, Jana and Mary.
He is survived by his son, Mark Whaley, and wife, Sunny, his daughter, Shannon Whaley Beebe, her husband, Chester, and grandsons, Logan and Lucas.
There will be a graveside service at the Bethany Cemetery in Wellington. Larry will be joined with his loving wife, Virginia.
