July 22, 1945 ~ June 25, 2025

Keith Eugene Lindon passed away on June 25, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 79.

Keith was born on July 22, 1945, in Hallett, Oklahoma, to Joyce James and Opel Ellen (Vanhoy) Lindon. He grew up in Hallett and attended elementary school there. Keith later went to Cleveland schools and graduated from Wynona High School with the Class of 1964. On May 29, 1965, he married Glenda Gale Willis at the Hominy First Christian Church, and they initially settled in Sapulpa. Shortly after their marriage, Keith was drafted into the service on August 18, 1966. The couple moved to several locations, including Fort Huachuca, Arizona, and finally Fort Benning, Georgia. During his military service, Keith served in Vietnam and received numerous medals and decorations, including the National Defense Service Medal, Expert (Rifle M-14), one Overseas Service Bar, Bronze Star Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device 1960, and the Combat Infantryman Badge. After his honorable discharge, Keith and Glenda returned to Tulsa, Oklahoma. They later moved to Owasso, where they lived until 1981, when they established their home in Hallett, where Keith continued to reside. He worked for Affiliated Foods, Dover Corporation, and lastly for the City of Tulsa, retiring in 1998.

Keith cherished the yearly Hallett Family Reunions and had a passion for all sports. He excelled in basketball, football, track, and volleyball during his high school years. Fast cars were also a passion of his, and he took pride in building a 1966 Ford Fairlane GT with 600 horsepower. Keith and Glenda enjoyed frequent trips to Branson together. He was deeply appreciative of his wonderful wife, Glenda, and was very proud of their two children, Brian and Cristal. Keith was described as a loving, kind, and gentle man. He was a hardworking individual and a good listener, though he was a picky eater-except when it came to sweets.

He is survived by his two children, Cristal Shawn and her husband Chris, and Brian Lindon and his wife Lori; his brother Darrel Lindon; and his grandchildren, Katlyn Pyles and her husband Sam, Emily Tillery and her husband Darion, James Shawn, Lyndsie Lindon, and Mikaela Lindon. He also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Tyler Pyles and Gretchen Tillery, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Keith was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Lindon; his parents, Joyce J. and Ellen Lindon; and his siblings, Dale Lindon and Joicelyn Fleming.
