Mary F. Olsen of Quapaw, Okla., died Saturday, May 10, 2008, at her home. She was 91.
Mrs. Olsen was born May 17, 1918, in White Oak, Okla., to Charley and Alice (Blackhook) Blalock. She lived in the area all of her life.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She worked for the Durham family
She married Joe Olsen in February 1989. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sons and her parents.
Survivors include one son, Charles Millard of Neosho, Mo.; eight daughters, Mary Ed Millard and JoAnn Greenfeather, both of Miami, Okla.; Judy Chrisman and Rosemary White, both of Quapaw, Elizabeth "Little Bit" Uttech of Kansas City, Mo., Ozetta Gibson of Tavares, Fla., Vicky Presson of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Alicia Chase of Wyandotte, Okla.; one sister, Dudie Brock of Peoria, Okla.; 33 grandchildren, 82 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, at the Peoria/Ottawa Building in Miami. The Rev. Geoff Buffalo will officiate. Burial will be in Peoria Tribal Cemetery in Quapaw. Indian rites will be conducted by Kevin Dawes.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be her daughters.
Arrangements are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami.
