Guy A. Brumley of Yale died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at Stillwater Medical Center.
He was 67.
Brumley was born Sept. 11, 1937, in Miami to Dale H. and Bonnie (Jennison) Brumley. He graduated from Miami High School in 1953.
He was a veteran of the Air Force.
He retired from the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
He married Gordalee Delores Rosebaugh on March 9, 1958, in McPherson, Kan. She preceded him in death on July 16, 1997.
Survivors include one son, David Dale Brumley of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Susan Brumley of California and Trish Brumley of Yale; one brother, Dan Brumley of Wyandotte, and four sisters, Kay Alred of Tulsa, Ann Roberts of Miami, Wyn Linthicum of Kill Devil Hill, N.C., and Dee Turner of Newkirk.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Tiger officiating. Burial will be in Ottawa Indian Cemetery, southeast of Miami.
Ottawa Indian rites will be conducted at the graveside.
The Floyd L. Perry American Legion Post No. 147 veterans' funeral detail will conduct military rites.
Pallbearers will be Steven Perry Jr., Steve Perry Sr., John Blaikie, Jack Alred, Bill Brumley and Steven Brumley. Honorary pallbearer will be Jeff Brumley.
