Geneal Rose (Willis) Barrett
January 13, 1924 ~ February 27, 2022

Services for Geneal Rose Barrett, 98, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. David Gray and Don Sayre will officiate. Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Mount Hope Cemetery, Afton, OK.

Mrs. Barrett passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at her home. She was born January 13, 1924 at Carnegie, OK to Benjamin Floyd and Maggie Francis Murray Willis. She graduated from Cleora High School.

She married Oran Barrett on May 13, 1940 at Miami, OK. She and her husband moved to Ada in 1985 from Afton. He preceded her in death in 1986. Mrs. Barrett was a homemaker and member of Trinity Baptist Church since 1990.

Survivors include her daughter, Janice Colene Little and husband Jim, Ada; grandchildren, Pamela M. Hudspeth, Eureka Springs, AR, John P. Hudspeth and wife Tracy, Ada, and Cyndi Judy and husband Sean, Norman; 10 great-grandchildren, Dane and wife Lisa, Barrett, Sandy, Trevor, Sara, Madison, Baylee, Zane, Zachary and Jaelynn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Lola Shaw; and granddaughter, Mylissa Wilson.
