He worked in retail for Farriers Grocery, Stokes Grocery, and Sherwin Williams until joining Bomford, Couch and Wilson Insurance as an insurance agent. Always and entrepreneur, Bob invested in rental properties and became self employed, renovating and managing his properties.
Always active, Bob was a Jaycee and played competitive recreational sports for many years, finally settling into his real passion for golf. He always cherished the friendships he had among his golfing buddies.
Never one to really retire, Bob developed his woodworking talent and designed and created furniture and cabinetry for family and friends. He cherished his Lord and Savior and the relationships he had with his church family. Known affectionately as Builder Bob he happily responded to calls for assistance, especially for the church property. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Commerce, OK.
Bob was a loving, kind, and very generous person. He especially enjoyed giving a surprise, often anonymous gift. He blessed many people in this way.
