Donald Fay "Don" Martin

Funeral services for Donald Fay "Don" Martin, 89, of Sperry, OK, were held Monday, May 19, 2025, at Skiatook Free Will Baptist Church in Skiatook, OK. Pastor Mitch Leonard officiated, and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK.

Don was born on September 20, 1935, in Goosecamp, AR, to Walter Martin and Lessie (Tipton) Martin. He passed away May 14, 2025, in Sperry, OK.

Don was a veteran of the United States Air Force Reserves based out of Clarksville, AR. He attended the College of the Ozarks in Clarksville, AR. After his military service, Don worked as a zone manager for Newspaper Printing Corp (now known as the Tulsa World) in Tulsa for over 35 years. He also worked as a machinist for Martin Machining in Oklahoma City for 8 years. Don was on the board of Oklahoma Central Credit in Tulsa, and on the board of the Country Corner Fire Department in Sperry. Don was also a beloved member of the Round Table group who gathered at the diner in Sperry for many years.

He is survived by Andrea (Hardie) Martin, Christopher Kester, Carlie Kester, Brennan Kester, Tara Drisko, Jerry Martin, Stephen Clark; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by Walter and Lessie Martin, Kimberly Sue Harvey, Danilee Clark and Cecil Clark.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
