Mrs. O'Dell was born at Fort Smith, Arkansas on January 5, 1946 to Floyd and Ida Mae (Monks) Pendergraff. She grew up and received her education at Panama and graduated from high school there. She was married to Phillip Leon "Pete" O'Dell on July 9, 1965 at Dewey, Oklahoma. She was employed with Safeway/Homeland in Bartlesville for many years. She was then employed briefly with the Drug Warehouse in Bartlesville until her retirement. Following her retirement she dedicated her life to the Barnsdall Rural Fire Department. She loved to be outside in her flowers and had a great love for her dogs and animals. She was always cooking for her family and fire boys, which was important to her.
Jean is survived by her husband, Pete O'Dell of Barnsdall, a granddaughter, Brittney Layne O'Dell of Nowata and a brother, Bobby Pendergraff of Dewey. She was preceded in death by her son, Albert Leon O'Dell in January of 2006.
