Mr. McCauley was born May 1, 1946 at the McCauley Family homestead, South of Barnsdall to George Washington and Eva Marie (Lytle) McCauley. Frank was raised and received his education in Barnsdall Public Schools, graduating from Barnsdall High School with the Class of 1964. He later entered the Oklahoma Army National Guard, and served with the 45th Infantry Group until his Honorable Discharge in 1970. He was married to the former Kim Chambers on June 7, 1974, at Dewey, Oklahoma. Mr. & Mrs. McCauley made their home in Barnsdall all of their married life where he was employed by Baker Hughes Corporation as an EP Operator for many years and where he was known affectionately as “Uncle Frank”, retiring there in 2009. He was a devoted and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather and his family was his #1 priority. Frank was very active in his Church, as he loved the Lord, and his Church family very much, serving as an Usher, and was active up until recently in the Children's Bus Ministry. Frank inspired many other cancer patients during his five-and-a-half-year battle with cancer, encouraging many other people during his and their chemotherapy treatments, often using his experiences to help inspire others receiving their first treatments. He loved the outdoors, including spending time with his wife on their pontoon boat floating at Birch Lake. Frank was an avid OU fan also, which was a source of great joy, and at times, frustration for him. Full Military Honors will be presented at the graveside service by the members of the Barnsdall American Legion Post #227, of which he was a member.

Mr. McCauley is survived by his wife Kim McCauley of the home in Barnsdall, two sons Jason McCauley and wife Gina of Barnsdall, and Christopher McCauley and wife Erica, serving with the U.S. Air Force stationed at Minot, North Dakota, by a sister Karen Mayfield of Bartlesville, OK., and a brother Jim McCauley and wife Debbie of Barnsdall, and four grandchildren; James, Gracyn, Diem and Elias McCauley, all of Minot North Dakota, his Mother-in-law and her husband, Margaret and Dave Clements of Barnsdall, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents George Washington and Eva Marie McCauley, and by his grandparents, and by his two brothers David and Johnny McCauley and by his father-in-law Russell Chambers.
