Mr. Daniel "Boone" Webster Gray, 86, of Bartlesville, died at 3:48 P.M. on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Medicalodge of Dewey.

Funeral services for Mr. Gray will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Tuxedo Assembly of God Church with Rev. Charles McKnight officiating. Interment will be in the Ethel Reece Cemetery at Barnsdall under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Come and go visitation will be at the Stumpff Funeral Home from 9 A.M. until 8 P.M. on Wednesday and the family will receive guests at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made the ElderCare, 1223 Swan Drive, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006.

Mr. Gray was born at Grove, Oklahoma on February 16, 1932 the son of Charlie Gray and Zelda Ann (Tau-unea-cie) Gray. He grew up and received his education at the Chilocco Indian School where his mother worked. He graduated from high school at Chilocco in 1950 and entered the United States Army on September 1, 1950. He served in Korea where he was a Sergeant and cook in the 279th Infantry, 45th Division and he received his Honorable Discharge on May 17, 1952. Mr. Gray was married to Carol Jean Wilcox on January 17, 1959 at the Methodist Church in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. They have made their home in Bartlesville since 1959. Mr. Gray was a trim carpenter and had been employed at Overlees-Woods Lumber for several years. He was then employed with the Bureau of Mines and Dunlap Construction Company and then with NIPER until his retirement. He was a member of the Tuxedo Assembly of God Church and the Eagles Lodge. He refurbished a 1972 Chevy truck that he enjoyed taking to various car shows and winning numerous trophies. He helped people fix things and did mechanic work on cars. He also built racing engines for race cars at the Dewey Race Track. He liked going to NASCAR, dirt track races, rooting for OU sports teams and the Oklahoma City Thunder. He enjoyed going fishing in Canada with his fishing buddies and his favorite thing to do was go to the Dewey Donut Shop every morning. Mr. Gray is survived by his wife Carol J. Gray of Bartlesville, two daughters, Danette Bishop and husband Fred of Bartlesville and Kimberly Savage of Skiatook, one sister, Almeta Tonips of Fort Worth, Texas, four grandchildren, Bryce Bishop and wife Ashley, Chance Bishop and wife Myranda, Makenzie Savage and Reese Savage, one great grandchild, Nash Bishop and numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charles "Abe" Gray.
