Jack Owen Gamble, 77, of Barnsdall, died at 8:20 A.M. on Monday, October 19, 2015 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa,OK.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Ethel Reese Cemetery in Barnsdall, with Rev. Jim Johnson pastor of Barnsdall Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will be in the Ethel Reece Cemetery in Barnsdall under the direction of the Stumpff Barnsdall Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the Stumpff Barnsdall Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 22 and 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, October 23, 2015.
Jack was born on February 7, 1938 at Barnsdall, OK to Emoyle Owen and Jacqueline (Foster) Gamble where he was raised and received his education. He was united in marriage to Patsy Armstrong on November 10, 1954. Jack was employed with Bareco Corporation and was the owner and operator of various businesses within the Barnsdall area. He was a member of the Barnsdall Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his wife Patsy (Armstrong) Gamble; Three children Debbie (Gamble) Wall and husband Al of Marshfield, MO; J.R. (Jack) Gamble and wife Sherry of Barnsdall, OK and Randy Owen Gamble and wife Tammy of Bartlesville, OK. Eight grandchildren: Russell Wall, Michael Wall, Jason Wall, Matthew Wall, Branden Gamble, Loni Kaufmann, Bruce Isaacs and Steven Leija. Twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emoyle Owen and Jacqueline. One brother Bill Gamble and two nephews Billy Joe Jr. and Rickey Gamble.
