Mary Ann McClead-Gillaspy

September 18, 1938 - March 23, 2023

Mary Ann McClead Gillaspy, age 84, passed away at her home in Marietta, Oklahoma on March 23, 2023. Mary Ann was born in Pawhuska, OK and was a proud member of the Osage Nation. Mary Ann grew up in Foraker, OK where she lived until the 1960's when she moved with her family to Gallup, NM then to Grants, NM shortly after. Grants was her home until 1985 when she moved to Wenatchee, WA eventually retiring in Marietta, OK. Mary Ann loved to garden, cook, sew, quilt and crochet.

Mary Ann is survived by three children, Kevin R. McClead, Sue (Fig) Padilla, and Janie (Richard) Gutierrez; grandchildren, Joseph, Rana, Adrienne, Tanya, Brandon, Crystal, Danica, Coltin, JR, Christopher, and Hallie; numerous great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Hunt. She is also survived by the family of the late Kenneth Gillaspy. She was preceded in death by Thomas R. McClead and Kenneth W. Gillaspy; daughter, Eva Lynn Burgess; grandson, Cody McClead; her parents, Robert M. and Marche A. Hunt; and brothers, Thomas Hunt and Frank Hunt.

The family would like to give special thanks to the CNS nursing staff -Angelia, nurses: Angela, Jakara, C-Leigh, Marlee and Raven, and Elara Caring Hospice.

The Rite of Committal and burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 31, 2023, at the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta.
