Robert Thomas Williamson, Sr

Robert Williamson Sr., 78, of Chelsea, formerly of Skiatook, passed away on February 11, 2025. He was born on August 12, 1946, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to Johnny and Marie Williamson.

Robert dedicated a significant part of his life to serving his community as a police officer with the Tulsa Police Department from 1967 until his retirement in 1989. Following his distinguished career in law enforcement, he continued to contribute to the workforce by joining American Airlines.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Johnny and Marie Williamson; his daughter, Kandice Williamson; and his brother, Ed Williamson Sr.

Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Goldie Williamson; his daughter, Mindy Williamson; and his son, Robert Williamson Jr. and his wife Peggy. He is also survived by his sister, Myra Martin and her husband Roy, and a loving family that includes grandchildren Sarah Holman, and her husband Jerrod, Joseph Barnes, Mackenzie Williamson and her husband Lucas Cohen, and Robert Williamson III. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren, Kaylee Johnson, Madison Johnson, Jacob Holman, Blake Holman, Joseph Barnes, and Cassandra Gonzalez and her husband Mitchel, as well as three great-great-grandsons; a niece and a host of nephews and cousins.

Robert will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family and community, and he leaves behind a rich legacy of love and service.

Pallbearers will be John Williamson, Eddie Williamson, Mitch Williamson, Mike Williamson, Hunter Williamson, and Gary Inglett.

Honorary pallbearers are Joseph Barnes, Robert Williamson III, Joey Barnes, Jacob Holman and Chris Williamson.

Visitation will be at First Baptist Church on Friday February 14,2025 from Noon until service time at 2:00PM. Burial will follow at Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook.
