Funeral service for Mildred Leone O'Neill, 96, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2005 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
Mildred Leone O'Neill was born February 20, 1909 in Mt. Zion, Indiana the daughter of Samuel Kerry and Nellie May (Gilbert) Kerry and died Sunday, March 13, 2005 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Mrs. O'Neill moved from Indiana to Oklahoma in 1919 when her father went to work for Sinclair Oil Company in Osage. She graduated from Osage schools and attended Tulsa Business College. She met and married Clyde O'Neill in 1929 in Cleveland, Oklahoma. They had been married for 61 years when Mr. O'Neill died in 1990.
Mrs. O'Neill was baptized November 10, 1957 in Sayre, Oklahoma. She was a member of the College Heights Baptist Church, the Rebekah Lodge in Oklahoma City and Eastern Star in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
She was also preceded in death by: her parents: one brother: Charles; two sisters: Mary and Martha.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law: Phyllis and Charles Pasley of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Grandson: Reverend Anthony (Tony) Beets and wife Adda of Chickasha, 4 great grandchildren: Rebekah Beets, Nathanael Beets, Kaylin Byrd and Samuel Beets, Step grandson: Shawn Pasley of Chickasha, 1 niece: Joyce Winters and husband Doug and family, Sister-in-law: Virginia O'Neill and family.
Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
