William Hezekiah "Carl" Hazen was the third son of Samuel Albert Hazen and Emily Lanning.
His parents came from Franklin County, Indiana to Nebraska where they lived near Pender for several years before coming with their children in a covered wagon to Oklahoma in September 1893. They first lived in Ponca City then settled permanately in Fairfax, Osage, OK.
Carl married Lillith E. Lowe, d/o Parvis and Julia Langshaw Lowe and had one adopted son, Arnold William Hazen. They lived for many years in Wichita, Kansas before returning to Osage County, OK where Carl died 22 Jan 1959 in Fairfax.
Lillith Hazen died Sep 1973 in Pawhuska, Osage, Oklahoma and is also buried in the Fairfax Cemetery in Fairfax, Osage, OK. Arnold William Hazen was born 21 Aug 1914 in OK and died 29 Aug 1993 in Wichita, Sedgwick, Kansas.
