Timothy Harold Roberts, resident of Shidler, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at his home. He was 35. Tim was born October 1, 1972 in Ponca City, the son of Ken Roberts and Phylis Taylor Roberts. He attended Burbank elementary school and was a 1990 graduate of Shidler High School where he was active in basketball. Tim married Martha Ann Cavett on March 2, 2002 at Burbank. Tim was employed as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. His enjoyments included fishing, cooking, farming, spending time with his friends, making others laugh and writing poetry, but he especially enjoyed the time he spent riding around the countryside with his dad. Tim had accepted Christ as his savior on June 16, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Martha, of the home; his children, Katie Roberts, Tyler Cavett, Mikayla Riley and Ronni Riley, all of the home; his parents, Ken and Phylis Roberts of Burbank; one sister, Christi Ray of Shidler; two nephews, Junior and Jessy Ray of Shidler; numerous aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parental grandparents, Charles and Reva Roberts and maternal grandparents, Clarence and Marie Carter. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Shidler High School Auditorium. Interment will be in the Burbank Cemetery under the direction of the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.
