Carl James Campbell Jr., better known as “Pete” was born in Claremore, Oklahoma on September 10, 1965. He attended Claremore Schools and graduated from Claremore High School in 1983. Pete was a “Chevy Man” and loved making cars and trucks go fast. He was especially proud of the “72 Chevy that he and his friend J.R. and others built together. Pete was a true entrepreneur and an expert at buying and selling trucks and cars. Also, scrap metals and salvage. Pete was on dialysis for 20 years and finally received the gift of a kidney in 2017. Even with dialysis and kidney struggles he never slowed down. Pete was proceeded in death by his parents Carl Sr. and Jolene Campbell and sister Carla Harmon. He is survived by three Aunts, numerous cousins and several longtime friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel.Inurnment will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:30 am at Bigheart Cemetery in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation 30 East 33rd Street New York, NY 10016.
