Two things in David's life that he loved. The first one was his family, especially his son, Phoenix. What a great dad David was. His second love was music. David was self-taught on eight different instruments. Guitar was his main instrument, but he could play the Keyboards/Piano, Upright Bass, Fiddle, Banjo, Drums, Mandolin, and the Djembe. As a young teenager, the family would go to a Fiddler's convention every year and he would even play there. He worked different jobs as life got started. He loved to cook so in his younger years he worked for Pioneer Woman in Pawhuska in the hotel and the pizza place. He worked for Mac's BBQ, but music kept calling his name. He played in a number of bands such as Chuck Sparrow and SkyTown. He was able to travel and play at Sturgis, at Rocklahoma, and in Nashville just to name a few. David was always working on his music, writing songs, and working on a new album.
David attended Calvary Worship Center for the better part of his life. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. David served on the Calvary Worship Team for a number of years.
David was a great encourager, he loved people and was very funny with a dry sense of humor. In the kitchen he could make a really good quesadilla and enjoyed grilling. He will be missed by all who knew him.
