Katherine Irene Bach, 71, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 28, 2023, at her residence in Hominy, Oklahoma
Katherine Bach was born on July 15, 1951, in Yale, Oklahoma to Harley Joel and Stella Elizabeth (Smith) Dale. Katherine grew up with two brothers, Anthony Eugene, and Harley Boyd (Buddy) Dale. She went to Pacifica High School in Hayword, California. She ran off and got pregnant then went back and graduated.
Katherine was married to Larry Hand, they had one daughter, DonnaLynn. Then she was married to Dean Bach, and they raised their two sons Kenny, and Michael. She raised her family in Drumright, then they moved to Hominy while the kids were little. She lived her life in Hominy, Oklahoma.
Katherine worked as a nurse's aide for a number of years and then finished her life as a homemaker. She loved taking care of people. People were Katherine's life. She was a home body. Katherine enjoyed painting on glass, crochets and doing her nails with her daughter. She was a "big" storyteller. Thanksgiving was a special time at home, she would make a feast. What a cook she was. Katherine loved her dog, "Pumkin".
Katherine is survived by her sons Kenneth (Tangy) and Michael, her daughter DonnaLynn (Sibley) Lanning; nine grandchildren Gabriel Lanning, Christopher Martin, Cathie Becerra, Linda Becerra, Beth Justice, Todd Justice, Derrick Figgeroa, Brandon Sexton, Rena Sexton; eight great grandchildren Coleman, Jeremy, Joshua, Ryan, Harley, Rinley, Stella, Joey; Preceded in death by her mom and dad Harley and Stella Dale, one brother Harley "Buddy" Dale.
Services for Katherine Bach will be Friday, March 31, 2023 at 10:00am at Powell Funeral Home in Hominy, Oklahoma. Burial to follow in A J Powell Memorial Cemetery, Hominy, Oklahoma. All arrangements have been supplied by Powell Funeral Home in Hominy, Oklahoma
