Leonard Dean Shepherd a resident of Henryetta passed this life on March 8, 2021 in Oklahoma City at the age of 74. Born November 29, 1946 in Henryetta to Leonard and Loretta (Floyd) Shepherd. Dean graduated from Henryetta High School and was an instructor at the Tulsa Welding School.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Danny Shepherd, Brother Bill Shepherd and two sisters Donna Geis and Juanita Kay Moore.
Survived by his children: Jeff Shepherd of Fair Field, TX; Deanna Birdtail of Schulter and Melissa Shepherd of Henryetta. Grandchildren: Payton Black, Walker Kinslow, Kolby Kinslow, Beau Shepherd, Jared Shepherd, Kaitlyn Shepherd, William Shepherd, Landon Shepherd,Bailey Shepherd, Marcus Birdtail, Matilda Birdtail, Bradon Maldanado. Great Grandchildren: Leegan Shepherd, Braxton Kinslow, Koy Birdtail, Kade Birdtail, Band Boxxtyn Birdtail Sisters: Jackie Ashley of Beggs and Barbara Pearce of Beggs.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ryan Wells, officiating. Interment will follow at he Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
