JD Patterson a resident of Henryetta passed away on November 14, 2006 in Henryetta, Ok at the age of 85. Born January 1, 1921 in Yeager,Ok to Thomas "Pat" and Claudia (Woods) Patterson. JD was a carpenter by trade and built the Immanuel Baptist Church in Desert Hot Springs, Calif. He graduated from Graham Schools and was a Deacon and faithful member of the Fist Baptist Church.
He married Sarah Katherine Pickle on 6-12-65 in Lakewood, CA.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Tony Patterson and a sister Jane Watson.
Survived by Wife: Kathy Patterson of the home,Sister: Lorine and husband Glenn Watson of Shawnee,Sister in law; Ruth Hess of Henryetta Nieces; Laura Alfred of Henryetta,Katherine Ann Nation of Texas, Nephews: Danny Nation of Mississippi, Jimmie Nation of Texas.
Service will be 10:00am, Friday, November 17, 2006 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Paslay, officiating. Interment will follow at the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
