Jack Lackey, a resident of Henryetta was born August 16, 1924 in Hitchita, Oklahoma to Ora Catherine (McCullah) Lackey and Thomas Burl Lackey. He passed away June 19, 2007 at Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years 10 months and 3 days. He was married to Betty (Adams) Lackey at Henryetta, Oklahoma on April 30, 1943. Jack retired from PPG Industries in 1977 after 38 years as a maintenance electrician. He was also a local rancher for over 38 years. Jack served in the U.S. Army and a was veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theatre. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Lawson, Omer, Noel, & Marvin "Toots" Lackey.

Jack is survived by his Wife, Betty Lackey, of the home 3 children, Kent Lackey & wife Caroline, Henryetta,Jacci Lackey, Henryetta Jan McDonald & husband Bill, Henryetta 3 Grandchildren, Brian Lackey, California,Billie Marie Lackey, Henryetta As well as host of friends and other relatives

The family requests memorials be made to the First United Methodist in Henryetta or the Arthritis Foundation.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, June 22, 2007 at 10:00 am at Westlawn Cemetery officiated by Rev. Rik Marion. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
