Anna Marie Kosir, a resident of Broken Arrow, formerly of Henryetta was born September 19, 1917 in Franklin, Kansas to Frances and Antone Femec. She passed away Monday, January 28, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years 4 months and 9 days.

She was married to John Kosir in Frotnac, Kansas on June 30, 1938.

Ann was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Henryetta and a member of the SNPJ Lodge #225 in Girard, Kansas for over 70 years.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, and by her husband John Kosir.

She is survived by her son, John Anthony Kosir & wife Anita, Broken Arrow; 4 grandchildren, Margaret Ann Kemp, Broken Arrow; Teresa Schneeberger & husband John, Broken Arrow;John Michael Kosir & wife Shala, Edmond, Oklahoma; Mark Kosir & wife Toni, Broken Arrow; 7 great grandchildren, Sara Dixon & husband Brian, Stephen Schneeberger, Rachel Ann Kosir, Matt Kosir, and Sam Kosir, all of Broken Arrow; Marissa Kosir, Edmond, Oklahoma; and Lily Kosir, Edmond, Oklahoma; 2 great great granddaughters, Savannah Dixon & Natalie Dixon, niece, Joann Hott & husband Buddy and son Shane, Henryetta;

Pallbearers will be John Michael Kosir, Mark Kosir, Brian Dixon, John Schneeberger, Stephen Schneeberger, and Buddy Hott.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 1, 2008 at 2:00 pm at St. Michael Catholic Church officiated by Father Peter Phung and Father James McGlinchey. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
