William Roscoe "Buck" Enis

William Roscoe “Rock” Enis died Saturday, February 16, 2019 in Muskogee, OK at the age of 93. Rock was born on March 11, 1925 in Gravelly, Arkansas. He was the son of James Clayton and Eula Mae Ammons Enis. His family moved to Wilburton, OK when he was a young man. They were farmers and ranchers. Rock entered the Army in early 1944. After basic training he was shipped to the South Pacific. His stops in the South Pacific included, Sai Pan and Okinawa. At the end of WWII he was shipped to Korea in the Army of Occupations. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant in 1946. After the war he returned home to meet his wife of “70” years, Patsy Ziverk.

His survivors include his wife Pat, son Rick and daughter-in-law Lori Enis and daughter Betsy Enis. Grandchildren include Josh and Brooke Kilhoffer and Lindsay and Diann Goodman. Great Grandchildren, Shelby, Payton and Jaxson Kilhoffer and Graham and Knox Goodman. Special friends Nick and Jennie Baker and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and four brothers.
Funeral service will be held at the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, February 19, at 10:30am.

Memorials can be made to the charity of one’s choice, the Oklahoma Baptist Children’s Home or the Honor Flights Program of Oklahoma.

Family will be receiving friends at the Funeral Home Chapel Monday evening, 6:00-8:00pm
