Davis, James Lee "Jim" was born November 29, 1921, in Dewar, OK, to Rookie and Lou Ellen Davis, and passed away on February 3, 2003, in Alamosa, CO. He married Mildred Creech on January 4, 1943. She passed away in 1989.
James attended OU and was a registered pharmacist and drug store owner for over 30 years, with stores in Chickasha and Madill. He was also a captain in the U.S. Army.
James is survived by his daughter: Judy Davis of Holyoke, CO; brothers: Orville Davis of Moore, OK, Lloyd Davis of Sylmar, CA, and John Davis of CA; and sisters: Mary Lou Rouse of Marshall, OK, Norma Ruth Graff of Tulsa, OK, and Betty Mae Tittle of Oklulgee, OK; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be held Thursday, February 6, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, OK, officiated by Max Alexander.
Services are under the direction of Mercer Adams Funeral Home, of Bethany, OK.
Family request that all attending please wear a mask at the funeral home and funeral service.
Memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Memory of Phil Agee, PO Box 609, Henryetta,Ok 74437
Funeral service will be live streamed from the Methodist Church facebook page.
