Mary Loyce Watson, a longtime resident of the Dewar Community, was born February 3, 1919 in Salem, Oklahoma to Beulah (Richardson) and Terry Boyd.
She passed away February 12, 2008 at Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years and 9 days. She was a homemaker, an excellent seamstress and a great cook.
She was a member of Dewar First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years and father of her children, Perry Hope, and her second
husband of whom she was married for 36 years, Tony Watson, also by three sisters, Cleo Smith, Geneva Irvin, and Gladys Cook, 2 brothers, Brad Hood and Bud Hood.

Pallbearers will be John Craig, James Stephens, Richard Carter, Ronnie Brison, Mickey Howk, and Earl Shatswell. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Moss, and Bud Gaither.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Dewar, Oklahoma officiated by Rev. Jack Vance. Burial will be in Beggs Cemetery under the direction of
Shurden Funeral Home.
