Jerry Ben Shepherd a life long resident of Henryetta passed away on December 8, 2007 in Tulsa, Ok at the age of 64. Born October 6, 1943 in Tehachapi, CA to Ben and Helen Shepherd. Jerry did construction work most of his life and was veteran serving with the US Navy during Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard.

Survived by 2 Daughters: Geraldine Chissoe & husband David of Oklahoma City Marcie Pierce & husband Greg of Salt Lake City, Utah Grandchildren: Kevin Chissoe, Lucas Pierce & Chloe Pierce. Brother; Dan Shepherd and wife Nancy of Del City,Ok Sister: Dorene Perez & husband Ed of Susanville,CA Nephews: David Shepherd of Del City Benjamin Shepherd & wife Angela of OKC Robert McElrath & wife JoAnna of Susanville,CA Anthony McElrath & wife Mandy of Susanville,CA Steven Shepherd of Tulsa Nieces: Jennifer McElrath-Schindeler of Susanville,CA Stephanie Layson & husband Scott of Tulsa Great Nephews: Alex & Welling Schindeler, Robert McElrath Jr., Andrew Layson Great Nieces: Danielle Shepherd, Holly, Samantha, Makayla Dorene McElrath, Breanna Shepherd and Corie Layson 2 Aunts; Wilma Ingram of Henryetta Margie & Jim Helmer Many cousins

He will be greatly missed and loved forever by his family and many friends.

Graveside services will be 11:00am, Monday, December 10, 2007 at the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
