The good Lord called Arnetta Owens home on September 18, 2006. She was born August 11, 1917 in rural Henryetta to Joe and Nancy (Cobe) Wills.
She worked as a nurse’s aid and was and Ordained Minister. She was a member of the Faith Assembly in Dewar, Oklahoma. She married Bertie Owens
on February 10, 1934 in Henryetta, Oklahoma and was married 59 years.
Her husband Bertie precedes her in death as well as 2 sons Bill and Warren Dean Owens, parents, 2 brothers Edward Wills and Frank Trusty and a sisters:
Lillie Noblin, Magdeline Russell, Martha Fry, Elsie Broker, Irene Woods and Goldie Hensley.
Survived by 2 Daughters: Velma Cindle and husband Ruben of Dewar,Wilma Anson and husband David of Henryetta,Son; Jim Owens of Henryetta
13 Grandchildren,31 Great Grandchildren,16 Great Great Grandchildren.
Family will be receiving friends at the Rogers Funeral home Chapel Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
Services will be 2:00pm, Wednesday at the Tabernacle of Praise in Henryetta. Interment will follow at the New Senora Cemetery under the direction
of the Rogers Funeral Home.
