Buford Lindley a resident of Henryetta , born October 18, 1929 in Hitchita, Ok to William E. Lindley and Mary Ella Smith Lindley. He passed this life on January 21, 2007 in Henryetta, Ok at the age of 77 years, 3months and 3 days.
He is preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and five sisters.
Buford married Juanita (Peace) Lindley on March 1, 1954 in Greensville, Mississippi. They were married for 52 years. He was a cross country truck driver for 23 years. Buford served in the United States Army, a member of the Dewar First Baptist Church and besides his family, fishing was his passion.
He is survived by his wife; Juanita Lindley of the home, Son; Billy Joe Lindley of Okmulgee, Ok. Two daughters; Sharon Kay Beel of Henryetta and Marilyn Sue Payne & husband Larry of Oklahoma City, OK. Buford also leaves behind two grandsons, five granddaughters and fourteen great grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:00pm, Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at the Hoffman Baptist Church with Rev. jack Vance officiating. Interment will follow at the Hoffman Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
