Mary Loyce Watson, a longtime resident of the Dewar Community, was born February 3, 1919 in Salem, Oklahoma to Beulah (Richardson) and Terry Boyd. She passed away February 12, 2008 at Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years and 9 days. She was a homemaker, an excellent seamstress and a great cook. She was a member of Dewar First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years and father of her children, Perry Hope, and her second husband of whom she was married for 36 years, Tony Watson, also by three sisters, Cleo Smith, Geneva Irvin, and Gladys Cook, 2 brothers, Brad Hood and Bud Hood.

She is survived by 3 Children:JoAnn Dossey Summers & husband Russell, Dewar, Oklahoma Jerry Hope & wife Wealthia, Tulsa, Oklahoma Sandy Kaidoglou & husband Mike, Woodside, New York 2 Sisters, Marcella Rose, Tulsa, Oklahoma Betty Janway, Carson City, Nevada 1 Brother, Bud Boyd, Carson City, Nevada 9 Grandsons, Terry Dossey, Bill Dossey, Perry Hope, Tony Hope, Chris Dossey, Mark Hope, Rex Poulson, Johnny Kaidoglou, Alex Kaidoglou 16 Great Grandchildren, Matt Dossey, Zack Dossey, Terry Hope, Erika Dossey, Dylan Dossey, Corey Hope, Meagan Hope, Alicia Cook, Olivia Green, Ashley Poulson, Emily Dossey, Wes Appleby, Andrea Appleby, Kevin Appleby, Joey Cruz, Phillip Cruz 5 Great Great Grandchildren: Zoey Dossey, Zara Dossey, Kaden Cook, Bailey Green & Aaron Cook As well as a host of friends and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be John Craig, James Stephens, Richard Carter, Ronnie Brison, Mickey Howk, and Earl Shatswell. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Moss, and Bud Gaither.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Dewar, Oklahoma officiated by Rev. Jack Vance. Burial will be in Beggs Cemetery under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
