Roger C. Wageck, Jr.

November 6, 1958 - March 10, 2020

Roger Clifton Wageck, Jr, 61, of Jones, OK, quietly joined his lord and savior on March 10, 2020, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, March 13th, 2020, at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK.
A casual (OU if possible) Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14th, 2020, at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home. Chaplain Martin Gossett will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunnylane Cemetery.
** Roger was not into "dress-up," so please come dressed casually. **
Roger Clifton Wageck, Jr., was born in Oklahoma City to Roger and Pauline Koeppel Wageck on November 6, 1958. He worked for ONG for 18 years and most recently was a maintenance supervisor for 18 years at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. Roger spent several years coaching first girls' softball and then boys' baseball, influencing the lives of so many children. Roger loved his family, watching all of nature's creatures in his own back yard, OU football and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his father, Roger C. Wageck, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Joni Rene Wageck; children: Denice and Eric Barton and their children, Kane, Solana and Erika; Courtney and Derek Atchley and their children, Chance and Jaden; Roger Wageck and Halle Jackson and their children, Ka’Miyah and Konor; and Adam and Stephanie Swain and their children, Kye and Kynlee. He is also survived by his parents, Elmer and Elizabeth, and brother-in-law, Kevin Vance.
Pallbearers will be: Roger C. Wageck, III; Adam Todd Swain; Derek Atchley, Eric Barton, Kevin Vance and Miles Palmier. Honorary pallbearers will be: Kane Barton, Kye Swain and Chance Atchley.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
