Muirl Dene Vickrey

November 12, 1925 - August 24, 2020

Muirl Dene Vickrey, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, 24 August, 2020. Muirl is preceded in death by her brothers Bill Vickrey in 2012 and Kenneth Vickrey in 2015 and Mary Bailey in 2016. She is survived by nieces, Debbie Stigers, Janie McCandless, Glenda Hacker, Kelli Hancock and their families all in or around the Oklahoma City area and nephew Stephen Vickrey and family of Mukilteo, WA - along with several grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Muirl was born in Drumright , OK the 2nd oldest of 4 children to Roy and Carrie (Rogers) Vickrey. The children's mother Carrie passed away when they were all very young, Muirl being - only 8-9 years old. The death of her Mother caused great strain on the family. The kids did what they could to help their father with the family farm and keep food on the table. Muirl a secretary and a good one for several years during the 1960s. She never married or had children. She lived in the Paseo district in a little bungalow for many years and enjoyed good food, spending time outdoors and her VW Bug. She lived a happy, simple life and was kind to everyone.
