Elbert L. Veach

Elbert L. Veach, 80, passed away in his sleep at his home in Del City Tues., April 18, 2000. He was born July 16, 1919 in Milburn, OK to Nannie and Holland Veach. He was preceded to Heaven by his wife, Sophie, of 55 years, his daughter, Cynthia, and his son Pete. He leaves behind his son, Elbert, Jr. of Canyon, Texas and his son Douglas of Okla. City; a brother, James of Del City, and three sisters, Lorene Anderson, Broken Arrow, OK, Grace Downs, Stone wall, OK, Nana Leatrice Bouse, Wilborn, TX; fourgrandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his in-laws and numerous friends and relatives. He was loved by everyone. He was very happy with his many years of work at Townsend Elementary. We always considered them our extended family. He will be missed very much by everyone. God bless him. Services will be 2:00 PM, Sat., April 22, 2000 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
