Salome Mafil'o Tulikihakau

August 11, 1965 - February 27, 2012

Salome Mafil'o Tulikihakau, 46, passed away February 27, 2012. She was born August 11, 1965 in Fotua, H'apai, Tonga Island to Vaim'ali and Melenaite F. (Havea) Mounga. She loved her family, and enjoyed cooking, her friends and the Polynesian dance company. She is survived by her husband: Otinili Tulikihakau; daughter: Tapaita Tulikihakau; sons: Otinili Tulikihakau, Jr. and wife Alexis, Foueti Havea Tulkihakau; grandson: Makisi Tulikihakau; granddaughter: Tapaita Z. Tulikihakau, sisters: Tupou Lotolangi Tukumoeatu, Makelesi Longo Fotu, Rhodaann Maamakalafi; brothers: Samiuela Maamakalafi Mounga, Peni Havea Mounga, Hetueni Fehoke Mounga, Tafokilea Mohetau, Sione Pasi Mounga, Tevita Mounga. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Tevita Leimoni Mounga, Hecoti Mounga, Penoni Mounga. Viewing will be Friday, March 9, 2012 8AM-8PM. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with burial to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
